Music has long been at the heart of St Christopher's. We have an excellent choral tradition, with three choirs and the newly established Choral Society, with parents and staff singing alongside pupils. Musical events each year include the Chamber Concert, Piano Recital and Summer Concert, as well as regular soloists in Assembly. The Houses compete against each other in House Music. The choirs perform at the church services each term, and a calendar highlight is the traditional Carol Service at All Saints' Church, where several of our children are choristers. This year's summer production will be
Bugsy Malone, with rehearsals already under way.
From Reception upwards Music is taught by a specialist teacher. Pupils make use of sophisticated Music Technology to compose and record their own compositions. Individual tuition is available in a variety of instruments. In recent years, St Christopher's has sent many children to their senior schools on Music Scholarships and Exhibitions.
