School Trips

IMG 4261 EDIT 2From Reception upwards, a comprehensive programme of trips and visits enriches and enhances the children's learning. Each year group goes on one major expedition per term, with visits arranged to tie in with curriculum topics, such as Reception visiting a farm to develop their work on animals, or Year 6 visiting Tate Britain to develop their work on watercolours. Our children travel abroad from a young age, with Year 4 visiting France for the day, and Year 5 going on a weekend residential to Normandy. Years 7 and 8 start the year with a teambuilding weekend under canvas, helping them to develop both their friendships and skills above and beyond academic life. A very popular Ski Trip is run each year, with both beginners and the more experienced welcome.IMG 6035 editIMG 7404 EDIT
