Admissions

IMG_7059 RETOUCH.jpgThe main points of entry to St Christopher's are at 4+ (Reception), 7+ (Year 3), 8+ (Year 4) or 11+ (Year 7) although children can join the school at anytime if places are available. Parents seeking a place for their son or daughter should first arrange an appointment to visit the School. To book an appointment e-mail the Registrar, Mrs Louise Tanzer, on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

20 places are available each year for pupils entering Reception (4+). Entry is non-selective at 4+ and places are available from birth. Places are given on a first come first served basis and lists fill up earlier every year so early visits are encouraged. Places are secured by payment of the deposit and return of the signed Terms and Conditions.

Entry to the School from Year 1 and above is selective and all prospective pupils visit the school for a taster day. Prospective pupils from Year 4 and above also sit standardised entry tests and are required to be registered for entry prior to the Entrance Examinations. Scholarships are awarded in Year 3 and Year 6 to pupils who show exceptional academic ability. In Year 6, some awards are also made for exceptional artists, musicians or sportsmen and women.

Means-tested bursary awards are available each year in order to support families who may not otherwise be able to send their son or daughter to St Christopher's.

School fees include lunch, most extra-curricular activities, textbooks and stationery.
School fees from September 2011 are as follows:

Reception £2300 per term
Year 1 £2631 per term
Year 2 £2702 per term
