It was lovely to see so many of you at Hove Park to watch the Prep School House Cross Country Competition and a delight to see so many children enjoying the healthy competition which the event brings. Impressed though I was by the running of those who headed the field in the three races, I was equally pleased to see those who came in towards the back enjoying the event, all cheered on encouragingly by parents and children.
This half of term has been short but packed full with enriching activities and learning, and the final week has been no exception. There have been some engaging drama productions, a charming teatime recital, with a good range of instruments and ages, success on the sports’ field, trips which enhance significantly the learning in the classroom and much more besides. I am, as ever, very grateful for the energy and dedication of the inspirational teachers who go so out of their way to give the pupils such colourful and enriching opportunities and equally grateful to the children and to you for embracing those opportunities so enthusiastically.
I wish all a very restful and happy holiday
