We encourage active participation in sport. From an early age children develop hand eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and teamwork. From Year 3, boys and girls participate in a full and inclusive fixture list.
From Reception the creative and performing arts are embraced. Creative expression is developed in using papier mâché, 3D modelling, clay, pencils and paint and beautiful artwork is celebrated in assemblies and displays around the school. All year groups have Music lessons and extra tuition is offered in a wide range of instruments. Every pupil in Year 2 learns the violin as part of their regular lessons. Our Junior Choir is very popular and children perform regularly in concerts, recitals and Assemblies. There is a drama production for every year group in the school, beginning in Reception with Nativity Plays, moving on to musicals and even Shakespeare.
Extra-curricular activities such as ballet, basketball, yoga, martial arts, tennis, and mini golf supplement an active lifestyle and healthy diet and provide the wide range which enables every child to excel.
